Architects of a sustainable digital ecosystem

At DC2SCALE, we believe that digital growth must be accompanied by a measurable reduction in carbon footprint.

In a sector known for its high energy consumption, we design our infrastructures with one requirement: to create sober, efficient, and responsible datacenters, anchored in an approach of long-term sustainability.

Eco-friendly air conditioning

Natural cooling: priority given to free cooling

We prioritize optimizing energy consumption related to cooling through the widespread use of free-cooling.
This technology relies on the use of outside air, thus reducing the need for mechanical air conditioning.

Our sites thus achieve PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) equal to or below 1.3, ensuring energy efficiency above the industry average.

Reuse: integrated from the design stage

On the Paris-Vélizy campus in Meudon, our subsidiary Circular Datacenter integrates reuse at the very heart of its data center design and operation projects. The idea is to think about reuse from the design phase.

Concretely, this means they strive to give a second life to the equipment, racks, and infrastructures already present on the site. This approach reduces electronic waste production upfront and embeds each new project in a circular economy logic. Thus, reuse becomes a practical solution to promote digital sobriety right from the early stages of creating a data center.

waste heat recovery

Heat recovery: a local and sustainable energy source

We recover the heat emitted by our IT equipment to transform it into a locally useful resource. This energy can heat urban networks, greenhouses, or nearby buildings, promoting territorial energy savings.

Our project within Tour W at La Défense is the perfect example: the waste heat from our data center will provide the eco-responsible heating for the entire tower, illustrating our commitment to local and sustainable integration.

Towards a responsible data center

Innovation is at the heart of our environmental approach.

We are developing intelligent monitoring tools to refine energy management, in order to anticipate load peaks and optimize resource allocation.

We believe that the data center of the future will be efficient, modular, locally integrated, and finely controlled.

At DC2SCALE, we are acting today to build this future.

Data on our commitment

Monitoring, indicators, and environmental commitments

We measure our impact with precision and make this data accessible to our clients and partners. Our environmental KPIs include:

Indicator Objective
PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) ≤ 1,35
WUE (Water Usage Effectiveness) ~0L/kWh
Low-carbon energy ≥ 90 %
Reuse rate ≥ 80 % of equipment
Direct emissions (Scope 1) 0g CO₂eq / kWh
Targeted environmental certifications ISO 50001, ISO 14001
